Leftovers make great pizza toppings. Last night we topped ours with ham and roasted asparagus left over from our big family dinner the day after Christmas. We've also used left over grilled chicken or pulled pork (w/ BBQ sauce instead of spaghetti sauce) Yum!
For crust, I use some of what ever bread dough I have in the fridge. I make bread from the "Artisian Bread in 5 min a day" book and love it. I've made pizza with the regular boule dough as well as the light wheat and the olive oil dough. All of them were good, but the olive oil was the best.
I'm a full time momma, part-time writer and frustrated cook. Food prices have gone up at least 30% in our area and I am struggling with how to feed my family nutritious, high quality food on a budget.
Your crust recipe sounds great and I can't wait to try it! I've never tried to make my own pizza, so this should be interesting ;)
